Twilight

Twilight is one of my favorite books. It is written by Stephanie Myer. It is the first book of a 4 book series. It is about a girl named Bella Swan who moves to live with her father in a small town called Forks. She moves there to reconnect with her father and to help your mom's realtionship with her baseball star boyfriend blossom. Her mom's lifestyle required a lot of moving around because of her boyfriend's job. So, Bella packs up to go live with her father, Charlie. Bella quickly makes friends but always seems to notice a odd boy named Edward staring at her. She thought he was very attractive in an angelic way. They started to talk but then he suddenly ignored her and stopped coming to school. She immediately thought it was because of her for some reason and wondered where he could've gone and what she did wrong. The truth was that Edward was a vampire and he had gone on a "camping trip" with his family, who were also vampires. Edward needed to go on the camping trip because he liked the smell of Bella's blood so much and didn't want to hurt her so he went "camping" in the woods to hunt. One day Bella was in the parking lot on an icy and snowy day when a car got out of control and almost hit her. For some reason, Edward was right there to save her and dented the car with his shoulder. She knew that she saw him on the opposite side of the parking lot and couldn't beleive that he had gotten to her so fast- she knew that was impossible. He made her feel like she was crazy and that she was unconscious. She knew this was impossible and kept demanding him to answer her questions because she knew that a normal human being couldn't do what he did. He finally told her that he was a vampire and they fell in love. It was hard for Edward to love her because he had to hold himself back from the smell of her blood. They were in complicated love and lived happily ever after...hardly.
