NEW KIDS ARE BACK

I recently read an article about the teenage boy band New Kids on the Block. They used to be very popular in the late 1980's and early 1990's. They split up in 1994 and are back together now. They have already put out a new album, and are on tour. Last month they sold 139,000 CDs and they album was debuted #2. They are now in their 30s and are excited to be back. I think it's kind of funny that their fans are the same people that liked them when they were teenagers. Jon Bream interviews two 31-year old women who paid $375 each to meet the New Kids when they come to St.Paul on their tour on Tuesday. One of the women said " I'm so excited to finally get my donnie hug!" There you have it- a bunch of old guys who think they're young guys making a lot of money. Tickets for Tuesdays show range from $20- $80 at the Excel Center. Natasha Bedingfield will be opening for NKOTB.
